I prefer to work three dimensionally, with various mediums. Clay, metal, plaster and found objects really intrigue my imagination with possibilities. As they say “one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure,” I like the ability to recycle and reuse objects that one may see as useless, where I see has a function. I like the experimentation and risk tasking of these materials. I like to manipulate materials into looking like something that they really are not. I also prefer to work in at least a life like or a larger scale. I tend to use vibrant poppy colors or metallic in my art works. Overall, I would say it is evident in my work that the Pop Art movement inspires me the most.
